The Route
Very simple. Get on I-84E and drive 286 miles.
About the Day
We had a chilly start (57° at Caldwell) and end (55° with a stiff breeze at Tremonton). There was sun at the beginning, intermittent showers between 2:30 and 4:30, and sun at the end of the drive. They're forecasting 36° tonight. Pretty cool, huh?
Along the Way
Leaving Caldwell
| This new campground really packed in a lot of RVs' |
| This is the view across from our trailer. |
The clouds
The cloud formations looked like cotton balls.
A surprise repair
We stopped for gas in Mountain Home, ID and discovered some bad news. The bedroom window had not been closed. The air stream blew out the Airstream's window.

The fix got tested by multiple showers in the afternoon. Carol's bed is still dry.
Our fingers are crossed that it will hold until we get home in a week or so.
Continuing to Tremonton
We passed Nampa, Boise, and Twin Falls. The scenery and cloud formations were beautiful.
Tremonton is just northwest of Brigham City.
Travel Trivia
The speed limit in ID & UT is 80 mph. Ours is lower.ID & UT look like RV centers of the world. RV sales lots are huge and filled with unsold units. What do they do with them?ID & UT residents seem to be pretty casual about wearing masks.
We stopped at Oxbow Diner and Spirits in Bliss, ID for a late lunch. Service was very slow due to staff shortage, but our meals were excellent. Carol's Rueben sandwich was the best she's ever had.
RVTripWizard said we would travel 287 miles today. The odometer said we travelled 286 miles. Picky, picky.
The Campground
We arrived a little after 6pm and discovered that Aspen Grove RV Park was closed for the day. Our late check-in instructions were waiting.
The park is new and attractive. The view is as great as the facilities.
We head for Rock Springs, WY.
