The Route
MapQuest offers three routes from our Dundee location to our Portland destination. They involve 31, 36, or 43 miles of travel. Due to one missed turn, we found a way to follow none of the routes. Our route was scenic (think circuitous) and impossible to recount.
About the Day
It was sunny and warm.
Along the Way
We left Dundee at around 10:30 and stopped at Shari's Restaurant in Sherwood for breakfast.
We turned right at the direction of an unfamiliar I-5 sign in Tualatin and that's where the journey went downhill. We ended up following country roads and city streets to Portland. We're here later than planned. No harm done.
We're moved in and unpacked.
We enjoyed dinner and visiting with Tim, Elizabeth, and Anna.

I took a “new route” to Portland too…Did you get to see the nice gasoline guys in Camby in your new route? 🤣 those silly guys decided to pretend to give me diesel in my regular gas tank! They think they are sooo funny!
