Day 9 - Medora, ND to Custer, MT

The Route
Today’s route was simple. Get on I-94, drive west 228 miles, get off at Montana Exit 49.

About the Day
The day was sunny, windy, and cool. The temperature only made it to the low 70s after hitting the 90s yesterday.

Strong crosswind gusts and the suction of passing semis made for an interesting drive.

Along the Way
The scenery changed dramatically along the way. This was a drive through wide-open spaces. There were many exits with no services.
