Day 19 - Dundee, OR (Day 5)

The Route
Just drove to Newberg a few times.

About the Day
The day was overcast to start, but cleared to a sunny, pleasant day by noon.

Along the Way
Barbara, Carol, and Lucy went for breakfast at The Coffee Cottage and then went to Sherwood to shop for school clothes and supplies.

Kenny and William went to Portland to pick up cabinets and a dish washer for the investment property.

Dick finished washing and waxing the trailer.

We went for a family dinner at the Black Bear Diner.

Travel Trivia
Nothing today.

The Campground
Fifteen days of rain, wind, road dirt, and bugs makes a bit of a mess. It's finally cleaned up. The trailer wash and wax is done, top to bottom.
Looks good for a 2007 Airstream with 93,084 miles.

Dick has a pretty good idea why RV detailers charge what they do. This job was done over 2 days with a bucket, sponge, car wash solution, tire brush, spray wax, tire shine, microfiber towels, and some water. We may subcontract it next time.

Tomorrow
Oregon plays Fresno State at 11am PST.  People out here care.

There will be a family reunion at 2:30pm PST.

  1. Beauty and Bandit are very jealous of the most excellent bath you gave your rig. See you soon!
